Personal Data Processing and Protection Notice

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, any information and documents that identify the person, including name/surname, address, place and date of birth, phone number, e-mail address, educational status, training information, health data, work experience, religion, race, and references contained in the person's resume are within the scope of personal data.

Your aforementioned personal data may be processed by "Hami Sigorta Acenteliği Ltd. Şti." as "Data Controller" within the scope explained below.

Purposes of Processing Personal Data

• Your personal data will be processed for the determination and collection of insurance premiums, for the presentation of insurance and private pension products, services, advantages or campaigns, for the provision of any communication including information, promotion, marketing and sales, and for the sending of commercial electronic messages for these purposes, for the fulfillment of obligations set forth in the legislation, for the identification of the person processing or ordering the transaction, for the preparation of records and documents in electronic or printed form, for the fulfillment of document retention, reporting and information obligations envisaged by the legislation, and for statistical purposes.
• Your personal data are collected verbally, in writing or electronically through our company's website, social media channels, mobile applications and similar means, either automatically or non-automatically. They may be collected and updated when you benefit from training, seminar, course, conference etc. services, when you attend organized events, when you visit the website or social media accounts, and in SMS communications.
• Your personal data will be processed for the evaluation of your job application and your suitability for the relevant position, for the conduct and conclusion of recruitment processes within the framework of our company's human resources policies, for the evaluation of your application in similar positions that may arise later in case of a negative result, for contacting you in this context, and for the development and improvement of the recruitment principles applied by our company.

To Whom and For What Purposes Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred

• Your collected personal data may be transferred domestically and abroad within the framework of the reasons, purposes and provisions set forth in the Law; for internal use by our company as well as within the framework of insurance and other legislation to the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency, Insurance Information and Supervision Center, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and various other institutions for the preparation of mandatory reports; to reinsurers, insurance and private pension companies and their agents, policy and contract parties, direct and indirect domestic and international group companies and affiliates, persons and organizations from whom services are received and with whom cooperation is carried out for the conduct of activities subject to the purposes specified in the legislation, and support service providers; to private organizations such as information technology, actuarial and loss adjustment companies from whom services are received for the conduct of insurance activities to the extent permitted by legislation; to insurance companies, our branches and other affiliates for pricing, sales and marketing operations and statistical analyses within the framework of our insurance services; to the Social Security Institution and other legally authorized public institutions; to institutions and organizations with whom we cooperate to conduct our activities; to domestic/overseas persons and institutions from whose services we benefit for data storage and from whom we receive physical server and/or cloud services; to domestic/overseas companies from whom we receive services for the sending of commercial electronic messages; to banks we have agreements with; to internationally certified payment organizations; to various domestic/overseas advertising companies, agencies and survey companies and our other business partners; and to legally authorized public institutions and private persons, in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes set forth in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

Method and Legal Basis of Personal Data Collection

• Your personal data may be collected through our company call center, website, digital channels, policy and contract parties, agents and all channels they serve, domestic/overseas affiliates, institutions and organizations with whom we cooperate, insurance and private pension companies, official institutions, domestic/overseas banks and other third parties; verbally, in writing or in electronic medium; by means that are fully or partially automatic or non-automatic as part of any data recording system, based on the legal grounds set forth in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.
• Personal and special categories of personal data of the parties to insurance policies and pension contracts are compiled from you directly through our center, our internet applications and our call center, and from databases to which we are granted access by public institutions for the fulfillment of obligations arising from insurance contracts.
• Your personal data are obtained for the conduct and conclusion of recruitment processes within the framework of our company's human resources policies and for contacting you in this context, and personal data collected on this legal basis may be collected through various collection methods, including verbal, written and electronic means, either automatically or non-automatically.
• Your personal data are processed only for the purpose of conducting insurance activities and limited to the statutory retention periods required by this purpose, within the framework of the "Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698" and other legislation.

Rights of the Data Subject Under Article 11 of the Law

We would like to inform you that, as the data subject, you have the right to apply to our company in writing or by other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board, and thereby:

• Learn whether your personal data are being processed,
• Request information if your personal data have been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing of your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with such purpose,
• Know the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred domestically or abroad,
• Request correction of your personal data if they have been processed incompletely or inaccurately, and request that the transaction be notified to third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,
• Request deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons requiring their processing have ceased to exist despite processing in accordance with the Law and other relevant legislation, and request that the transaction be notified to third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,
• Object to any result that may arise to your detriment from the analysis of processed data exclusively by means of automated systems,
• Request compensation for damage if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data,

Your requests will be concluded by our company free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest depending on the nature of the request. However, if the transaction incurs an additional cost for our company, the fee set out in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be charged.
